Our Team
Koushumi Chakraborti
Founding Director
Intersex Children's Foundation has been founded to support both Intersex Children and their parents in India. It is a Trust Of India, By India and For India. While there is a lot of information available online from various countries across the globe, none of them were sensitive to Indian Culture, Social Fabric, Medical Infrastructure, Educational System and Laws. 20+ years of corporate experience and a passion for the welfare of children, I will be supporting in driving all program.
Dr. Jayeeta Basu
Founding Director
Ph. D in Sociology, I will be contributing towards research, analytics and Publication so as to raise awareness and advocate for the welfare and rights of Intersex Children. My experience in teaching will also help me add significant value in collaborating with social and educational organizations to create inclusive and enriching environment for our intersex children.

We work tirelessly to advocate for the rights of intersex children in India. We collaborate with government bodies, human & child rights organizations, medical professionals, and educational institutions to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by intersex children and push for mindset, policy and procedural changes that protect their rights and also ensure their wellbeing and happiness.

We offer a range of holistic support services, tailored to the specific needs of intersex children and their families. Our support includes counseling and access to medical professionals and educational institutions who understand the complexities of intersex conditions.

Our resources aim to provide comprehensive information about intersex conditions, medical options, and avenues for seeking support. We facilitate connections with culturally sensitive medical teams who can guide families through their unique journeys.
Our resources also offer insights into international human rights frameworks, medical advancements, and support networks.
